(Jack) Weaver, 79, of Midland, Texas, formerly of Meyersdale, died Nov. 11 at Midland. He was born June 14, 1901 in Wheeling, W. Va., and was a son of the late George Weaver and Alice Weaver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Bowman) Weaver, in 1969. He was operator of the F. W. Weaver grocery store, Meyersdale, and salesman for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Pat Johnson, Ventura, Calif., Mrs. Shirley Christiansen, Farmington, N.M., and Mrs. Jackie Stesslre, Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Clara May, Keyser, W. Va.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Services were held Monday, Nov. 17. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
