  WEAVER
  
  James W. "Pappy" Weaver, 93 of Garrett, died April 21, 1997, in
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born Jan. 1, 1904, in Garrett.  A son of the late
  Edward and Bertha (Haupt) Weaver.  Also preceded in death by his
  wife, the former Grace Bockes, two sisters: Mable Bittenhender and
  Margaret Bird; two brothers: Richard Weaver and Charles Weaver. 
  Survived by two children: Doris J. Sheeler, Garrett, RD 1, and Jay F.
  Weaver, New Haven, Ct.  Also 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren,
  and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  A brother of William Weaver,
  Meyersdale; Clyde Weaver, Mary Jones and Charlotte Casio, all of
  Somerset.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday, with Pastor Randall Marburger officiating.  Interment,
  Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
