  William J. Weaver Sr., 49, Hollsopple RD 2, DOA on Nov. 1, 1996, at
  Lee Hospital.  Born May 17, 1947, in Somerset, son of Owen G. and
  Martha (Berkey) Weaver.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by
  his wife, the former Jean Boyer; children: William J. Jr. and fiance,
  Julie Hartnett, Johnstown, and Crystal, wife of Bryan Oakley,
  Hollsopple RD 1; grandchildren, Joshua W. Weaver and Bryanna Noel
  Oakley; and stepmother, Emily (Everett) Landis-Weaver, Boswell. 
  Brother of Judy, wife of Roger Starcher, Englewood, Fla.; Sandy, wife
  of Steve Toth, Windber, and Terry, married to Sandy Deist, Boswell RD
  3.  Brother-in-law of Earl J. Boyer, married to Mary Beam, Salix; and
  Judith Mitchell, Hollsopple RD 1.  Attended Windber Church of the
  Nazarene.  Member of U.S.W.A.  Employee of Emglo Products Inc. 
  Observed 29th wedding anniversary July 1, 1996.  A 1966 graduate of
  the former Jenner-Boswell High School.  Friends were received Sunday
  evening and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at
  the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be
  held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Donald Eller, officiating. 
  Interment, Stahl Mennonite Cemetery, Tire Hill.
