Weaverling, 87, Stoystown RD 3, died May 24, 1981, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, from accidental burning. He was born May 28, 1893, in Everett, son of Grant and Sarah Ellen (Fletcher) Weaverling. Preceded in death by parents, infant daughter, two brothers and two sisters. Survived by his widow, the former Dora Moss, whom he married April 29, 1929; son, Franklin, at home; daughter, Mrs. George (Gloria) Ernst, Stoystown RD 3; two grandchildren. Brother of: Mrs. Kathryn Spangler, Hollsopple; Mrs. Robert (Louise) Fleegle, Fannettsburg, Pa.; Mrs. Mildred Kiser, Johnstown; Mrs. Cleon (Mary) Diehl, Richland, Wash. Retired employee of Poorbaugh Lumber Company after 42 years. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Buckstown. Family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Woodrow J. Klinger.
