  HOWARD WECHTENHISER
  
    Howard Louis Wechtenhiser, 68, of Berlin RD 4, died Sept. 13, 1976,
  at Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born July 31, 1908, in Listie, a son of the late Chauncey
  and Sarah (Ross) Wechtenhiser.  He was preceded in death by a brother
  and two sisters.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Mildred Stahl; a daughter,
  Betty Lou Wechtenhiser of Berlin RD 4; and these sisters: Mrs. Viola
  Watkins, Mrs. Kenneth Baer, both of Somerset RD 5; and Mrs. Rose
  Welsh of Cleveland, Ohio.
    A member of Listie Brethren Church, he was also a retired miner and
  maintenance worker for PennDot.
    Friends were received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services were conducted Sept. 16 with the Rev. Fred Walter
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
