  WEDGE
  
  Louther D. Wedge, 88, of RD 2, Smithfield, Pa., formerly of
  Meyersdale, died Aug. 4, 1987, at his home.  Born Nov. 17, 1898, in
  Meyersdale, son of the late Abraham and Sarah (Flickinger) Wedge. 
  Preceded in death by his wife, the former Naomi Bittner.  Survived by
  two brothers: Charles E. Wedge Sr., Connellsville; and Arthur Wedge,
  Meyersdale; one sister: Mrs. Rebecca Miller, Cheektowaga, N.Y.; also
  a number of nieces and nephews.  He was a retired coal miner. 
  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m.
  Friday, with the Rev. Russell King of the Masontown Brethren
  Church.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
