  WEDGE
  
  Mildred L. Wedge, 82, of Meyersdale, died Dec. 9, 1997, at her
  residence.  Born Aug. 21, 1915, in Hyndman, a daughter of the late
  Henry F. and Susan May (Smeak) Lindeman.  Survived by her husband of
  54 years, Arthur L.; brother Clarence Lindeman of Baltimore, sister
  Irene Hostetler of Meyersdale; two nieces: Joyce Chubb of Annandale,
  Va., and Lois Dartholf of Gaithersburg, Md.  She was a member of Zion
  Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the quilting group.  Before
  she was married, she was employed by the Phillip and Jones shirt
  factory in Meyersdale.  Friends will be received at the Leckemby
  Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Thursday.  She will be moved to the Zion Lutheran Church on
  Friday to lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, with
  Rev. Randy Marburger officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
