Weeks, 75, of Jenner Cross Roads (Lincoln Highway Stoystown RD) died Feb. 22, 1999, at James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona. Born June 26, 1923, son of Wiley and Mary (Motes) Weeks. Preceded in death by parents, stepdaughter, Eva Thomas; one sister, and three brothers. Survived by wife, the former Hazel (Fritz) Sellers; son; Bobby L. Weeks, married to Deborah Forrest, Sedley, Va.; stepson, Edward Sellers, married to Donna Lint, Acosta; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Also survived by former wife, Shirley (Bates) Guest, Rochester, N.Y.; sisters: Ruth Barkley, Kissimmee, Fla.; Marie Hayes, Sulligent, Ala.; and brothers: Ralph, Keddo, Mich.; James, Romulus, Mich.; Robert, Beaverton, Ala., and Gene, Guin, Ala. Member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. Former member of Boswell Lions Club and Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department. Army veteran of World War II and recipient of the Purple Heart. Along with wife owned and operated the former G. & H. Diner, Jennerstown, having retired in 1975. Friends received, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be, held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Gary L. Tustin officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery, Somerset.
