Born Dec. 4, 1924, in Blough, Quemahoning Township, a son of Elmer Cleophas "Puffy" and Ethel Catherine (Hottle) Weible. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Evan and Meredith Weible; sisters, Rhea Stevenson and Carol Collins. Survived by wife, the former Emma Jane Baer to whom he was married 58 years; children, Ms. Marilyn Joyce Weible, Friedens and Mrs. Michael J. (Debra E.) Carey of Somerset. A 1942 graduate of Somerset Township High School. Member of Geiger Church of the Brethren, retired mechanic and service station operator of Weibles Sunoco. Also was co-founder, co-owner/operator of Weibles Candy Store. Past member of Somerset Lions Club. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, at the Geiger Church of the Brethren, Friedens. The Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating. Viewing one hour prior to service at the church. Interment Husband Cemetery.
