Weible, 83, of Kantner, died June 17, 1995, at Windber Hospice. Born March 23, 1912, in Shade Township. Son of John and Myrta (Weyand) Weible. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Kenneth. Survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Edna Mae Croyle; daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Betty Ann) Shaffer of Windber; grandson, Brandon Shaffer; sister, Adda Reihl of Twinsburg Ohio, and sister-in-law, Jeannie Weible of Hooversville R.D. 1. He was a retired mechanic from Lohr's Implements, Kantner. World War II Army veteran. Served as a master sergeant in the antiaircraft division. Member of Kantner United Methodist Church, Forbes Area Senior Citizens and Kantner Rod and Gun Club. Lester enjoyed woodworking. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 1:30 p.m until services at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kantner U.M. Church, Rev. Jason L.
