WEICHT, John R.

John R. Weicht, 56, 91 Pool Road, North Haven, Conn., passed away July 5 , 2008, 
at the Christiana Hospital, Wilmington, Del. He was the husband of Anita Doyle 
Weicht. Mr. Weicht was born in Rhode Island on  Sept. 27, 1951, and was the son 
of Carl J. and  Dorothy Eagle Weicht of Florida. Father of Sean M. Weicht, North 
Haven; and Robert J. Weicht, Wallingford, Conn. Brother of Constance (Harlan) 
Ayers, Florida;  Linda Leclair, Norwich, Conn.; and Wayne (Angela) Weicht,  
Delaware. Also survived by nieces and nephews. John  was a Behavioral Health 
Community Monitor for the  State of Connecticut for the past 37 years; he served 
his  country faithfully in the U.S. Marine Corps during the  Vietnam War and was 
an avid boater. The visiting hours will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at  
3 p.m. Saturday in the North Haven Funeral Home,  36 Washington Ave., North 
Haven. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In Lieu 
of flowers, memorial contributions may be  made to APT Foundation for the John 
Weicht Memorial Fund, 1 Long Wharf Drive, Suite 321,  New Haven, CT 06511.
