Born April 13, 1934, in Glen Savage. Son of Henry and Pauline (Reschke) Weidner. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Melanie Renee; and brothers Frederick H., Paul O. and Ervin W. Weidner. Survived by his wife, the former Judy Lee Haneline, and these children: Donald Clifford Weidner of Trafalgar, Indiana; and Kimberly Gaylene Weidner of Cincinnati, Ohio. Brother of Samuel F. Wiedner of Somerset; Martha Varner of Cleveland, Ohio; Vernon Weidner of Rochester, Michigan; Evelyn Shaulis of Butler; and Glendon Weidner of New Haven, Mich. Graduate of Berlin-Brothersvalley High School and Penn State University. He taught in the Southern Fulton School District before entering the insurance business with Lutheran Brotherhood. Also operated D.J. Enterprises Inc. of Fort Wayne, Ind. Also taught at Byrn Mar College and Institute and Indiana-Purdue University. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin; FOE Aerie 1801, Somerset; and New Baltimore Sportsmen's Club. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. The Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. officiating. Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Leukemia Society, 2 Gateway Center-13 North, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15222.
