Wiedner, 85, of Somerset, passed on Dec. 24, 2003, at Somerset Hospital. Born Oct. 7, 1918, in Fairhope Township, a son of the late Henry and Pauline (Streick) Weidner. Preceded in death by his parents, son Kenneth Wiedner, brothers Frederick, Paul, Don and Ervin Weidner, and the mother of his children, Mary Deist. Survived by his children, Dorothy, married to Donald Arden of Somerset, and Samuel F. Jr., married to Carol (McGuire) Wiedner of Berlin; grandchildren, Donald Arden Jr., Denise Hetrick and Douglas Arden, and Brian, Daniel, Samuel III and Dwayne Wiedner, and Jackie Cramer; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Varner and Evelyn Shaulis; and brothers Vernon and Glenn Weidner. He was a retired farmer and self-employed businessman who worked in Somerset County for many years. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glen Savage for over 50 years, where he was active in many positions, both in the local, church and the Missouri Synod. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Glen Savage. Rev.
