Miller Weigle, 76, of Friedens died Thursday, Feb. 20, 1997, in the Somerset Community Hospital. She was born July 7, 1920, in Mill Run, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Kelly Rubright. She had been a resident of Friedens since 1972 and attended the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle in Jennerstown. She is survived by her husband, Eugene O. Weigle; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Catherine) Hiltabidel of Dunbar and Mrs. Silas (Louella) Swank of Tionesta, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Louis (Ruth) Lambert of New Centerville and Mrs. Leonard (Janet) Cebula of Boswell; three stepsons, Charles Weigle of Lynchburg, Va., Eugene E. Weigle of Somerset and Earl Weigle of Allentown; eight grandchildren, 21 step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild; many step-great-grandchildren; a brother Edward Rubright of Carlisle, Pa.; and a sister Mrs. Mildred Stoker of Stahlstown. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Rayburn W. Miller; a daughter, Betty Garletts; three brothers, George and James Rubright and an infant brother; and two sisters, Betty Basinger and Dolores. Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Saturday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, where a funeral service will he held at 2 p.m., Sunday with the Rev. Gary Anderson officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Normalville Cemetery. Daily American, February 22, 1997 [W0656]
