Weigle, 84, Somerset, formerly of Garrett, died Oct. 5, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born Oct. 2, 1923, in Pittsburgh. A son of the late William and Ruth (Murray) Weigle. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty J. (Haer) Weigle; and three children, Bill Weigle, and his wife, Dianne, Johnstown; Janet Critchfield, Vineland, N.J.; and Greg Weigle, and his wife, Laurie, Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Stephen, Amanda, and Ashly; and four great- grandchildren. A member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett. A graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School class of 1941. A 32nd Degree member of the Masonic Lodge Meyersdale. Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps World War II. John was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan. Friends will be received 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where a service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Glenn Foster and the Rev. Ralph Landis officiating.
