  ALAN DAVID WEIMER
  
  Alan David Weimer, 53, Somerset, died Aug. 1, 2004, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 6, 1950, in Somerset a son of David Charles and
  Elsie Mae (Bittner) Weimer.  Survived by parents, Somerset; wife, the
  former Patricia Ann Shaulis to whom he was married 21 years;
  children, James Elton Schrock married to the former Julie Carouse,
  Rockwood, Angela Marie Weimer and Curtis David Weimer both of
  Somerset; grandson, Nathan Cade Schrock.  Brother of Mrs. Terry
  (Elizabeth "Betsy") Fitzgerald, Stoystown; nephews and niece,
  Christopher, Laura and Adam Fitzgerald.  A 1968 graduate of Somerset
  High School.  Also graduate with a BA in 1972 from Pennsylvania State
  University.  Member of Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church.
  Was a partner, manager and welder for Weimer's Blacksmith Shop and
  Welding.  Also was an avid hunter, member of New RepublicA, sponsor for
  Ducks Unlimited and American Turkey Federation.  Friends received 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  A service will be conducted 1
  p.m. Friday at the Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, Somerset. The
  Rev. Dennis L. Doebler officiating.  Interment Casebeer Cemetery.
