Pleasant. Born Aug. 3, 1896, in Milford Township, son of the late William Harrison and Ida (Hoover) Weimer. Preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, the former Mabel Edith Bittner, and these brothers and sisters: Eva, Ernest, Clarence, Ralph, Harry, Russell, Oscar and Kenneth. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Jose M. (Charlotte) Casas of Somerset; grandsons: David Paul Casas of Somerset and Alan Charles Thomas of Tampa, Fla.; and sister Gladys, widow of Eugene Benford, Rockwood. Member of the First United Methodist Church, Somerset; a charter member of the Somerset Historical and Genealogical Society; and a member of the local, county, state and national Granges. He is retired from the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. after 37 years. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the immediate family in the Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery, the Rev. Elias Kessler officiating, under the direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the education fund of the First United Methodist Church.
