  CLARENCE C. WEIMER
  
    Clarence C. Weimer, 82, Rockwood, died Dec. 29, 1982, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born Oct. 28, 1900, in Somerset County, a
  son of William and Ida (Hoover) Weimer.
    He is survived by one son, Clarence C., McConnellsburg; one
  daughter, Mrs. Fred (Doris Jean) Welsh, Rockwood; one brother,
  Charles F., Somers, one sister, Mrs. Eugene (Gladys) Benford,
  Rockwood; and these grandchildren, Ronald R. Walker, Rockwood RD 2;
  Donald J. Walker, Ebensburg; Lynn (Sam) Walker, Garrett; Keith A.
  Walker, Somerset; Miss Barbara A. Weimer, McConnellsburg; Miss Sally
  Jo Weimer, also of McConnellsburg; Mrs. Rena Kay Walker Green, Casa
  Granda, Ariz.; Mrs. Charmaine (Welsh) Montgomery, Rockwood; and a
  grandson's widow, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Walker, Reynoldsville; 18
  great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson, Gabriel.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Elva (Lyons) Weimer; by one
  daughter, Julia; by a grandson, Darwin, and a granddaughter, Deanna
  (Walker) Nicklow; and a great-grandson, Darl Nicklow; also by one
  sister and six brothers.
    He was a member of St Lukes Lutheran Church, Rockwood, and a
  retired rural mail carrier after 35 years of service.  He owned and
  operated Weimer's Grocery Store for 7 1/2 years, and was associated
  with the Rockwood Cemetery for 51 years.  He was also an honorary
  member of the Rockwood Fire Department.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where services were conducted with the pastor James Roth
  officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
