Born Sept. 2, 1898, in Black Township, he was a son of William and Mary Alice (Swarner) Weimer. He was a member of Pine Turn Hunting Camp. Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Hay; four sons, Robert, William D. and Jack, all of Rockwood RD 1; and Harold of Somerset RD 1; six daughters, Mrs. Galen (Dorothy) Dickey, Garrett RD 1; Mrs. Darrell (Betty) Reid, Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs. Calvin (Cleo) Cramer, Rockwood RD 2; Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Smith, Listonburg; Mrs. Earl (Mary) Reese, Akron, Ohio; and Mrs. Helen Evans, Confluence; also three stepchildren, Ruby, Melvin and Norman Hay of Rockwood RD 1; and a sister, Mrs. Marie Brant, Rockwood. Funeral service was conducted Saturday morning in William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Rev. Edward Cauffiel officiating. Interment in Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
