Wimer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Wimer, died at his home in Jennings, Md., Friday evening, Sept. 7, from a paralytic stroke. He had recovered from several previous strokes during the past year. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Isabelle Wimer, and eleven children: Mrs. Flora Craw, Devon, Conn.; Albert Wimer, Bridgeport, Conn.; George Wimer, Briar Hill, Pa.; Mrs. Estelle Bowman, Deep Creek, Md.; Mrs. Lucille Engle, Turtle Creek, Pa., children by his first wife, the late Eliza Ann Sloan Schmidt Wimer - Elwood, Ellsworth, Martha, Alice and Violet, children by the surviving wife at home; also a step-son, Russell Schmidt, Accident, Md. Also surviving are three brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Wimer was a member of the United Brethren Church. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in the Jennings Lutheran Church by Rev. Milton B. Miller, Mennonite minister of Grantsville. Interment in the Thayerville Cemetery, directed by William Winterberg, Grantsville mortician. Meyersdale Republican, September 13, 1945 ELMER E. WEIMER Elmer E.
