  WEIMER
  
  J. Frederick Weimer, 80, Friedens, died April 23, 1988, at home. 
  Born Jan. 14, 1908 in Friedens, son of James F. and Cora (Gohn)
  Weimer.  Preceded in death by parents, and a brother, Albert. 
  Survived by wife, the former Mary Ellen Giffin, and sister, Mary
  Dively, Sebring, Fla.  Retired carpenter.  Member of the Lutheran
  faith and was a charter member of Friedens Volunteer Fire Company. 
  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner
  Funeral Home Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday. Rev. Walter J. Emswiler officiating.  Interment, Oddfellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
