WEIMER, John Harvey

John Harvey Weimer, 73, Somerset, passed on July 23, 2007, at home. Born March 
9, 1934, in Acosta, he is the son of the late John Henry and Anna (Brown) 
Weimer. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Horner. He is 
survived by his wife of 53 years, Lola (Menser) Weimer; daughters, Lori Conn and 
husband, Barry, and Lisa Barclay and husband, Michael, both of Somerset; 
grandchildren, Will, Ryan, Jordan, Giovanni, Jonathan, Ashley, Amanda and David; 
and great-granddaughters, Madison and Alexis. He loved to work with his flowers 
and tend his grounds. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended Pike Run 
Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at 
Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Interment will be private at Somerset County 
Memorial Park.
