  WEIMER
  
  Katie Weimer, 89, Meyersdale, died Feb. 9, 1989, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 23, 1899, in Brothersvalley Township,
  daughter of the late Harvey and Mary (Cober) Gindlesperger.  Preceded
  in death by her husband, Peter, in 1939; and a granddaughter, Diana
  Oester.  Survived by two sons: Earl, West Middlesex, and Robert,
  Meyersdale; and two daughters: Marie, wife of Ross Weimer, and Wilda,
  wife of Jon Vena, both of Meyersdale; 17 grandchildren and 20
  great-grandchildren.  She owned and operated Weimer's Grocery Store
  in Meyersdale from 1939 until her retirement in 1988.  Member of Zion
  Lutheran Church.  Friends will be received in the Leckemby Funeral
  Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.  On Sunday she will be taken to the
  Zion Lutheran Church to lie in state from 1 until 2 p.m., the time of
  service, with the Rev. Pamela Armstrong officiating.  Interment,
  Berlin Cemetery.
