Weimer, 81, of Mount Savage RD 1, Md., died Sunday, July 21, 1985, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born in Meyersdale, Nov. 17, 1903, a son of the late Theodore Weimer and Aliareta (Bittner) Weimer. He was a retired locomotive engineer for the Western Maryland Railway. He was a member of Zion Lutheran and Reformed Church, Wellersburg, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He is survived by his widow, the former Alva Long; one son, Royden W. Weimer, Newark, Del.; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene L. Kern, also of Newark; Mrs. Maryann Trexler, Petrolia, Tex.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman. Services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran and Reformed Church by the Rev. Harold W. Crabtree.
