  Mrs. Ruth Elmira Weimer, 78, Friedens RD 2, died Dec. 4, 1974 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 14, 1896 in Brothersvalley
  Township daughter of the late Calvin and Ida Ringer Hay.  Also
  preceded in death by her husband George D., three sisters and two
  brothers.  Survived by two children George C., Pittsburgh, and Mrs.
  Charles (Una) June Davis, Cherry Hill. N.J.; five grandchildren; two
  sisters, Mrs. Lorene Sorber, Friedens RD 2, and Mrs. Fred (Prudence)
  Speicher of Leesport, Pa.  Member of Friedens Lutheran Church, LCW. 
  She was a former Somerset county area schoolteacher and had attended
  Shippensburg State Teachers College.  Friends received at 2 p.m.
  today, Friday, in the Richard E. Haugher Funeral Home where service
  will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. James Ling
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
