All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ SAMUEL WEIMER Samuel Weimer, aged 54 years, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ozias Weimer of Greenville Township, and a resident of the Flintstone region of Allegany Co., Md., died in the Allegany Hospital at Cumberland on Wednesday night, Sept. 30. His death was brought on by a paralytic stroke which occurred some weeks previously. Mr. Weimer grew to manhood at the Weimer home near the Baker School on the Salisbury-Pocahontas Road and married a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Crowe of near Johnson's on the National Pike in Garrett County, Md. For some years they resided near Finzel and then moved to Frostburg where he was for a while employed by the E. B. Prichard Co., after which he moved to the Flintstone community. The funeral was held Monday, at the home of his daughter in Frostburg. Interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery at Pocahontas. He is survived by his wife and ten children, the youngest three years old, also by his father and six brothers and six sisters. Meyersdale Republican, October 8, 1931
