  Clova P. Weiss, 78, South Park Ave., Somerset, died June 16, 1994, in
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Jan. 29, 1916, in Garrett, daughter of the
  late John and Martha Johnson Bockes.  Preceded in death by husbands:
  Albert Halbrock, and Herbert Foust, also preceded in death by sister,
  Evelyn Lafferty.  Survived by husband, C. McGriff Weiss, and son, John
  Halbrock, Stoystown RD 3, Charles Halbrock, Hubbard, Ohio; daughter,
  Linda, wife of Paul Johnson, Somerset RD 5, step son, Dennis Weiss of
  Leighton, and Devon of Somerset, also a number of step children, step
  grandchildren, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, and
  one sister, Shirley Dills.  Member of First United Methodist
  Church.  Retired cook at former Beacon Restaurant for 22 years, a
  retiree from Bender Shoe Company.  Friends will be received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where
  service will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday Rev. John Buchko. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
