  Louis Weiss, age 89, years formerly of Somerset, died April 21, 1977
  at 6:15 p.m. in the Church Of The Brethern home in Windber.  He was
  an operator and owner of the Modern Dye Works in Somerset for over 40
  years.  Survived by his daughters, Miss Rose Weiss of Scalp Level home
  in Windber; Mrs. Wallac Friedman of Johnstown; Mrs. Paul Hoffman Jr.
  of Somerset RD.  Interment, Roosevelt Cemetery in Philadelphia,
  Sunday April 24, 1 p.m.  Mr. Weiss is resting now in Pickings Funeral
  home on Somerset St. in Johnstown.
