   WELKER
  
  Mrs. Betty J. Welker, 45, of Friedens, died Nov. 20, 1973 at
  Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh.  Born May 21, 1928 in Morgantown,
  W. Va., daughter of the former Elsie Baughman of Warren, Ohio, and
  the late George Long.  Survived by husband Cloyd Welker Jr. and these
  children; Tim, of the U.S. Navy, Randy and Cindy at home.  Member of
  Friedens Lutheran Church.  Employed by Rockwood Insurance Co.  Family
  will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Charles R.
  Dearer Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 11
  a.m. Thursday with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment in
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Family requests that in lieu of
  flowers contributions should be made to the Leukemia Society of the
  America, 907 Empire Building, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15222.
