  WELKER
  
  Cloyd W. Welker, Sr., 79, of Stoystown, died June 3, 1975, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 29, 1896, in Clearfield
  County, son of Thomas and Margaret (Williams) Welker.  Preceded in
  death by parents, one brother and five sisters.  Survived by widow,
  the former Gladys (Crowell); and the following children: Wendel,
  married to the former Mary Nicholas of Sharon, Pa.; Mrs. Claude
  (Gerda) Reed, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Cloyde Jr. of Friedens; and Mrs.
  Jack (Romaine) Trent, Johnstown; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-
  grandchildren.  Brother of Alvin, Everett; and Mrs. Roxie Curley,
  Morrisdale.  Retired coal miner and truck driver.  Member of Friedens
  Lutheran Church and the Stoystown Lions Club.  Family will receive
  friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in
  the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Rome, Stoystown, where services will be
  conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. James R. Long officiating,
  assisted by Rev. Herbert G. Hohman.
