  WELKER
  
  Mrs. Gladys L. Welker, 81, of Stoystown, died Aug. 16, 1977, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 22, 1896 in Clearfield
  County, daughter of James and Alice (Narehood) Crowell.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Cloyd Sr. in 1955; brother, Loy; and
  sister, Vida.  Survived by these children: Wendel, married to Mary
  Nicholas, Sharon; Mrs. Claude (Gerda) Reed, St. Petersburg, Fla.;
  Cloyd Jr., married to Leila Shaffer, Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Jack
  (Romaine) Trent, Johnstown; 12 grandchildren; and 10
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Orin of Allport; Olin, New York; Mrs.
  Alberta Wolonik, Coatsville.  Member of the Friedens Lutheran
  Church.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. James R. Ling
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
