Weller, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, died Sunday, November 28 in Mt. Pleasant. Born May 23, 1915, in Wellersburg, she was a daughter of Bruce C. and Grace A. (Witt) Weller, of Mt. Pleasant. Preceded in death by her father (in 1981) she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Oliver (Beulah) Helman, of Royal Oak, MI; and Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Reynolds, of Midland, MI; and one niece, Phyllis Reynolds, of Midland, MI. She was a secretarial graduate of the Business Institute of Saginaw, MI and the USDA Grad School in Washington, D.C. She worked in several law offices in Mt. Pleasant, MI., before going to Washington, D.C. in 1942. During her 40 years in Washington, she worked in the Agricultural Adjustment Agency, East Central Division; the AAA War Board Services Farm and Machinery and supplies branch; office of Material and Facilities; Bureau of Agricultural Economics; Rural Electrification Administration. She retired in 1976 as a statistical assistant in the FVS&T Program area of CDE. She served as a consultant in this division after retiring. She was a member of the OPEDA; Past President of the USDA Eastern Star Club; Eastern Star Past Matron, Rebekah Lodge Past Noble Grand, Washington, D.C., and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodges. Friends were received in, the Stinson-Helms Funeral Home, University Ave., Mt. Pleasant, MI under the direction of the Rev. Rodney Kalajainen.
