WELLER Charles Weller of Summit Mills received news last week of the death of his brother, John H. Weller, in Waterloo, Iowa, on Sept. 7. He was born in Berlin, Pa., May 16, 1871, the son of Jonathan and Caroline (Philippi) Weller. They moved to Summit Mills where he grew up. He went to Waterloo, Iowa, when he was 20 years old. On Sept. 21, 1898, he married Elizabeth Maude Hawver who preceded him in death as did also three brothers, Harvey in N. Dakota, Forrest and Wilson at Summit Mills, and two sisters, Ellen Lindeman and Ida Thomas, also of Summit Mills. The brother, Charles, above mentioned and two daughters, Rowena at home, and Mrs. Donald Main, Waterloo, survive him. He was employed at the Herrick Refrigerator Co. for 48 years. Funeral services were held at the Locke Funeral Home, Friday, September 9, at 2 o'clock. He was a member of the Brethren Church there and his pastor the Rev. Vergel E.
