Clevenger Weller, 81, of Markleton RD 1, died June 28, 1993, at Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin. Born Sept 4, 1911, in Henry Clay Township, Fayette County. A daughter of the late Arthur and Sadie (Hensel) Tressler. Preceded in death by husbands, Lawrence L Clevenger, and James Weller; a son, Albert; two brothers and three sisters. Survived by the following children: Phyllis Clevenger of Confluence, Frances Nicklow, Paul, Doug and Arlene Clevenger, all of Markleton, and two stepchildren, Ginny Emmery of Lewisberry and Donald Weller of Lisbon. Also 14 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren; three brothers, George, Everett and Howard Tressler, all of Confluence, and three sisters, Ruth Crawford of McKeesport, Betty Faidley of Markleton and Mabel Shipley of Niles, Ohio. She was a member of the Queen Victoria Rebekah Lodge 575 of Kingwood, Confluence VFW Post 7250 Ladies Auxiliary and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association. She was a retired cook from the River Barge Division of U.S. Steel. Friends are being received from 10 am. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Rev. John H. Snyder officiating.
