Weller, 72, of 133 Grant Street, Grantsville, Md., died Friday, Nov. 30, 1984, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland. He was born Nov. 22, 1912, at Summit Mills, the son of the late Foster O. Weller and Carrie (Keim) Weller. He was a veteran of World War II and a charter member of the American Legion Post 214, Grantsville, having served as finance officer for many years. He was a charter member of the Grantsville Lions Club and a member of WOW Alcamp 41 in Grantsville. He had been employed as a rural mail carrier and was an employee of the former First State Bank in Grantsville. Surviving are his widow, Alma (Bittinger) Weller; two brothers, Dale Weller and Clark Weller, both of Meyersdale, and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Scheller, Berlin. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home in Grantsville, where services were conducted Monday at P. p.m. by the Rev. David Fetter. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
