  MRS. JOHN A. WELLSLAGER
  
    Jane Wellslager, 56, of Mt. Arlington, N. J., died there Jan. 18,
  1974.  Born April 4, 1917, in West Salisbury, she was a daughter of
  William M, and Alice (Bevans) Knecht.
    Surviving are her husband, John A. Wellslager, Mt. Arlington, N. J.; 
  a brother, Carl Knecht, Salisbury; and three sisters, Mrs. Marie
  Miller, Salisbury; Mrs. Regina Burns, Baltimore, Md.; and Miss Rita
  Knecht, West Salisbury.
    Funeral mass was held Tuesday morning in St. Michael's Roman
  Catholic Church, West Salisbury, with Rev. Raymond Karr
  officiating.  Interment in the church cemetery under the direction of
  Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury.
