  Mrs. Mary A. Welsh, 88, of Metuchen, N.J., formerly of Somerset, died
  July 30 in Foot Hills Nursing Home, Somerville, N.J.  She was born May
  6, 1885 in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of the late John and
  Ellen Kerney.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. 
  She is survived by the following children: Charles A. Jr. of
  Metuchen, N.J., Mrs. Elenor McGeehan of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. John T.
  (Mary) Lyons of Dover, Del., Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Lutz of Avon, N.J.
  and Mrs. Frank (Jean) Neiderhiser of Ligonier, 11 grandchildren and
  19 great-grandchildren.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated
  at   10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peters Catholic Church, Somerset with
  Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  A private interment will
  follow at Somerset County Memorial Park under the direction of the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family
  suggests that donations be made to the ChildrenAos Aid Society.
