  LOGAN E. WENGERD
  
    Logan E. Wengerd, 68, of Grantsville, Md. died at his home.
    He was born at Millersburg, Ohio, and was the son of the late Levi
  S. Wengerd and Nellie Mae (Seibert) Wengerd.
    He had been a paint contractor and salesman for Central Petroleum
  Company for 50 years.
    He was a member of the United Church of Christ at New Germany, a
  veteran of World War II, a member of Grantsville Post 214 American
  Legion and WOW Camp 41 also of Grantsville.  
    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna (Custer) Wengerd; three
  sons, Joseph Wengerd, James Wengerd and Donald Wengerd, all of
  Grantsville; a brother, Robert Wengerd, Sarasota, Fla.; a sister,
  Mrs. Marian Menuez, Benton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and four
  great-grandchildren.  
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home.
    Services were conducted in the United Church of Christ with the
  Rev. Maurice Smith officiating.  Interment will be in the church
  cemetery.
