  WILLARD L. WENRICH
  
    Willard L. "Barney" Wenrich, 83, of 102 Weigand Drive, LaVale, MD;
  formerly of Ellerslie, MD, died Tuesday, July 31, 1990, at his
  residence.
    Born June 30, 1907, in Ellerslie, MD, he was the son of the late
  Orville and Emma Jane (Kennell) Wenrich.  His first wife, Mary L.
  (Zimmerman) Wenrich, died Feb. 13, 1965.  He was also preceded in
  death by one brother, three sisters, and a stepson.
    A lifetime member and an organist for the Ellerslie United
  Methodist Church, he was a retired insurance agent for the Home
  Beneficial Life Insurance Company, Cumberland, MD.  He served with
  the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
    He is survived by his widow, Mary L. (Bittner) Wenrich; two
  daughters, Mrs. Ellen J. Scritchfield, Hyndman RD 1; and Mrs. Jean L.
  Cornell, Concord, Calif.; one stepson, Bill A. Vannetta, Cresaptown,
  MD; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Audrey Snyder, LaVale, MD; and Mrs.
  Barbara A. Smith, Cresaptown, MD; one sister, Mrs. Eleanor McDaniel,
  Winchester, Va.; and 17 grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman, where services were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. by the Rev.
  David J. Paul and the Rev. Roger E. Burtner.  Interment, Porter
  Cemetery, near Ellerslie, MD.
    Grandsons served as pallbearers.
