  Clyde A. Wentz, 73, Stoystown RD 2, died Dec. 30, 1983 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 24, 1910, in Quemahoning Township,
  son of Albert and Della (Rodgers) Wentz.  Preceded in death by
  parents; son, Edward; sister, Velma Coleman; and brothers, Lester and
  Kenneth.  Survived by wife, former Evelyn Koontz, whom he married Jan.
  22, 1930; and these daughters: Mrs. Ronald (Lois) Bowman, Stow, Ohio;
  Ms. Donna Landis, Toledo, Ohio; and 4 grandchildren.  Brother of:
  Mrs. Russell (Mary) Bloom, Davidsville; Grant, Hooversville RD 1;
  Harold, Stoystown; and Orville, Las Vegas, Nev.  Employed by H.J.
  Specht Hardware, Stoystown, for 46 years.  Member of Grace Lutheran
  Church, Stoystown; Forbes Senior Citizens; and Quemahoning Rod and
  Gun Club.  Former member of Stoystown Volunteer Fire Co.  Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev.
  Ronald C. Long officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery,
  Stoystown.  If friends desire, instead of flowers, contributions may
  be made to Stoystown Volunteer Fire Dept. Rescue Squad.
