  Evelyn K. Wentz, 81, of Somerset, formerly of Stoystown, died Oct. 9,
  1993, at Somerset Hospital.  Born March 4, 1912, in Quemahoning
  Township, daughter of Frank and Stella (Coleman) Koontz.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Clyde A.; son, Edward C.; brothers, Merle,
  Fred, Bob and Harold Koontz.  Survived by daughters, Mrs. Ronald
  (Lois) Bowman, Munroe Falls, Ohio, Mrs. Warren (Donna) Merkitch,
  Toledo, Ohio; four grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.  Sister of
  Catherine Whipkey, Somerset.  Also survived by numerous nieces and
  nephews.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown.  Family
  received friends Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday (today), Rev. Walter L.
  Startzel.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  Instead of
  flowers, memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown,
  or American Heart Association.
