  WARD D. WENZEL
  
    Ward Dowe Wenzel, 69, of Burlington, W. Va., died August 30.
    A native of Eglon, he was a son of the late Dr. John W. and Mary
  (Fike) Wenzel.
    Surviving are his widow, Claire Margaret (McKinley) Wenzel; three
  sons, William D. Wenzel, Culpepper, Va.; Donald B. Wenzel, Fairfax,
  Va., and Mark K. Wenzel, Clover, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Claire **an
  Butler, Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Carlton D. Wenzel.  Oakland, Md.; a
  sister, Mrs. Forthea Sperry, Ridgeley, and 11 grandchildren.
    The body was at the Shaffer Funeral Home, where a service was
  conducted with Rev. Ernest D. Metheny officiating.
