  FREDERICK E. WERNER JR.
  
    Frederick E. Werner Jr., 53 of Garrett, died Dec. 18, 1997 at his
  home.  Born Sept. 15, 1944 in Garrett.  A son of the late Frederick
  E. and Wilma (Burkholder) Werner.  Survived by his wife, the former
  Madeline Barndt.  Also two children: Lee Ann and Frederick III, both
  at home; two brothers: Bradely E. and Wendell A., both of Garrett;
  step-father, Kenneth E. Werner, Garrett RD 1; two nephews: Richard
  and Wendell Werner Jr.; and niece, Nichole Werner.  Member of Mt.
  Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett.  Honorary member of the Garrett Vol.
  Fire Dept., and a member of the Garrett Borough Council.  Friends
  will be received from 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday
  at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at
  2 p.m., Monday, with Pastor Arnold D. Ansell officiating.  Interment
  Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
