  GEORGE C. WERNER
  
    George C. Werner, 70, Garrett, died Oct. 17, 1978 at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    Born Jan. 16, 1908, in Garrett, he was a son of the late Robert and
  Nellie (Miller) Werner.
    He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Velma Miller, Garrett; Mrs.
  Helen Miller, Warren, Ohio; and Mrs. Mary Sweeney, Addison; and a
  number of nieces and nephews. 
    Friends were received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. William Phennicie
  officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
