  GEORGE H. WERNER
  
    George H. Werner, 87, Meyersdale, died July 9 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    Born Jan. 5, 1880, on Garrett RD 1, he was a son of the late Conrad
  and Elizabeth (Smith) Werner.
    Surviving are his wife, Katie (Swearman) Werner; four children,
  William R., Miss Ruth and Miss Elizabeth, all of Meyersdale; Harold
  E., Meyersdale RD 4; two grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Samuel
  Pritts, Garrett.
    Funeral service was held on Wednesday afternoon at Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, with Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating.  Interment
  was made in Union cemetery, Meyersdale.
