Born in Garrett, she was a resident of the Louisville area for 60 years. She retired in 1969 from the Timken Co. after 27 years of service as a matron. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Kings Daughters Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband, Mahlon C. Werner, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Jones, Gardenia, Cal.; three step-daughters, Mrs. John (Mary Ann) Sherman, Geneva, Ohio; Mrs. Robert (Grace) Lesh, Lake Cable, Ohio; and Mrs. John (June) Schorsten, North Canton, Ohio; one brother, Paul Geiger, Canton, Ohio; also 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at the Formet and Clevenger Funeral Home with Dr. Marvin E. Hall officiating. Interment, Sunset Hills Burial Park, Louisville. Meyersdale Republic, March 23, 1978 [W0930]
