Werner, 33, Rockwood, formerly of Meyersdale, passed on Jan. 21, 2008, in Somerset Township. Born Sept. 26, 1974, in Meyersdale, he is the son of the late Donald R. Werner and Sarah (Winkler) Beal, Meyersdale. He is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents, John and Josephine Winkler; and grandmother-in-law Alma Leora Pyle. He is survived by his wife of four years Sonya (Pyle) Werner, Rockwood; mother, Sarah Beal and husband, Victor, Meyersdale; sister, Hope Knopsnyder and husband, Gary, Meyersdale; brother, Robert Werner and wife, Tammy, Meyersdale; mother-in-law, Anna Pyle, Somerset; father-in-law, Earl C. Pyle II, Somerset; Sonya's grandparents, Jerry and Ida Hostetler and Earl C. Pyle, all of Somerset; uncle, John Hostetler, Somerset; sister-in-law, Brandy Eason and husband, Brian, Snellville, Ga.; nephews, Cole Baer, Marshall Werner, Jesse Werner, and Jacob Eason; cousins, April and Jessica Nicholson, David and Beth Hostetler, and Michael Meyers; uncles and aunts, Harry and Kim Winkler, Garrett, John and Diane Winkler, Somerset, Willard and Loraine Duckworth, Glencoe, Charlie and Mary Kelly, Garrett, and David and Christine Nicholson, Roger and Darlene Rody, and Virginia Walker, all of Meyersdale; special friend, the Rev. Earl Pritts; and numerous other friends, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was a 1994 graduate of Meyersdale Area High School and was employed by Kenny Ross Chevrolet in Somerset. He was a former member of the Garrett Volunteer Fire Department. He loved to hunt and be outdoors and was a good friend to all who knew him. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh and the Rev.
