Werner, 51, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, May 3, 1995 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born Feb. 1, 1944 in Meyersdale, he was a son of Lucille (McKenzie) Werner, Salisbury, and the late Carl James Werner. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, West Salisbury. A heavy equipment operator, he was also a member of the VFW Home Aid Association and the Sons of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, the former Janice Kay Green of Frostburg, Md.; two sons, Troy Werner, Meyersdale; and John Thomas Werner, Frostburg; three daughters: Johnna Werner, Frostburg; Melissa Jones, Meyersdale; and Carla Wiley, Cresaptown, Md.; a sister, Dixie Spiker of Somerset, and five grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev.
