  JOSEPH R. WERNER
  
    Joseph R. Werner, 59, Church St., Garrett, died June 4 at his
  residence.
    Born Sept. 11, 1906, in Summit Twp., he was a son of Robert and
  Nellie (Miller) Werner.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Darle Miller; his mother;
  three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Mary Sweeney, Somerset; Mrs.
  Helen Miller, Rockwood RD; Mrs. Velma Miller and George Werner,
  Garrett.
    Mr. Werner was an elder of Garrett United Church of Christ, a
  member of Meyersdale Lodge 554 F and AM, the Harrisburg Consistory, a
  trackman and foreman for B and O Railroad for many years.
    Service was held June 7 at Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin,
  with Rev. Randall L. Heckman officiating.  Interment was in Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
    Masonic services were held Sunday, June 5 in the Funeral Home.
