  LUCILLE MARY WERNER
  
  Lucille Mary Werner, 87, of Salisbury, died Aug. 7, 2002 at Beverly
  Healthcare, Meyersdale.  Born May 23, 1915 in Frostburg, Md., she is
  a daughter of the late Angus and Caroline (Merrbach) McKenzie.  She
  was preceded in death by her husband, Carl James Werner and a son,
  John W. Werner.  Survived by one daughter, Dixie Spiker, Somerset;
  one brother, Wilbur McKenzie, Salisbury; one sister, Leona Oester,
  Grantsville, Md.; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. 
  Member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, West Salisbury.  Operated
  Werner's Grocery Store with her husband and was a member of Salisbury
  VFW.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury.  Mass
  of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St.
  Michael's Church with the Rev. Father Albert J. Anselmi
  officiating.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
